Gun Dog Photography was born as a result of my indescribable awe and amazement at watching dogs do what they were bred to do. If you are the owner of a gun dog, you know exactly what I’m talking about. A gun dog is one of nature’s masterpieces . . . a well-oiled hunting machine with incredible spirit and a heart of gold.
One early morning, I stood watching as my year-old German Shorthair Pointer ran through the fields, sun gleaming off his rippling muscles and determination shining in his eyes, and I realized that the photographs I was capturing of him were actually of moments in time that I was privileged to be a part of. Looking at those photos, I am taken back in time, to the smells of the crisp, clean air and the thrill of the hunt.
Gun Dog Photography affords gun dog owners, trainers and breeders the opportunity to capture and preserve these memories for all time. I specialize exclusively in action shots taken during the course of an actual hunt, training session, hunt test or field trial.
